Building a high-performing team: bringing the Lencioni approach to action
A team’s performance depends as much on interactions as on individual competencies. Collective dynamics, often implicit, directly influence trust, commitment, and accountability. When these dynamics become unbalanced, obstacles emerge: conflict avoidance, lack of buy-in, or diluted responsibility.
Our approach is based on Patrick Lencioni’s Five Dysfunctions of a Team model. This framework helps establish a shared diagnosis and identify concrete levers to strengthen cohesion and effectiveness. The Lencioni assessment provides an objective perspective on team perceptions and structures the collective development process.
We also integrate a systemic perspective on team dynamics to better understand influence patterns and address the deeper mechanisms shaping team functioning.
Objectives:
| Understand the mechanisms behind collective performance (Lencioni model)
| Identify dysfunctions and points of friction
| Strengthen trust and manage tensions constructively
| Foster commitment around shared objectives
| Implement concrete and sustainable actions
